Hobart Zebras are delighted to announce ladies PFD Super League coach Chris Hey has committed to continuing his role into 2018.
Chris and the team have had a phenomenal 2017 so far, remaining unbeaten in all competitions – claiming the Summer & Statewide Cups and sitting 6 points clear with 20 consecutive victories on top of the Super League.
Chris said “To date the women’s program has had a fantastic season and I am proud that assistant coach Adam (Powell) and I have had the opportunity to share the experience.
We intend to continue to build a culture within the women’s program that is not only professional but a committed program from both coaching staff and players who take their football seriously.
Our football environment at Zebras is pressure for positions and I intend looking at bringing players from other clubs who share the same professionalism commitment and motivation to improve and develop their football knowledge in all aspects.”
Mady O’ Brien, the PFD Super League captain said “The girls are happy to have Chris back on board for another hard season and hope to build on what Chris has brought to the team this year.”
